Trees

We’re really pleased to say that we’ve been able to keep the majority of our cut and pot grown Christmas tree prices the same as last year - there’s only a couple of sizes that have had to go up. That’s 4 years in a row most of them have stayed the same price 👏

We have a great selection of pot grown trees here on site. There are Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce in 4 different sizes, starting at 60-80cm going up to 125-150cm. All of these trees are as we say, pot grown; so they were planted as seedlings in their pot and then the pot has been planted in the ground. The reason it’s done this way is that when they’re lifted there is minimal, if any, root damage which makes for a stronger tree for you to keep and grow on for future years. If the seedling is planted straight into the ground, it can sustain considerable root damage when lifted which may give it problems trying to establish itself in its new home. As ever, if it’s too early for you but you want to get the tree done and off your to do list, we’re more than happy to keep your tree until you’re ready for it, at no extra charge. On the cut tree side of things, we have heaps of those here too and we will have freshly cut stock arriving weekly. We only stock the Nordmann Firs as cut trees because they have better needle retention compared to Norway Spruce. These start at 125-150cm and go up to 240-270 (although we will have a few over 3m too). New this year is the “premium” Nordmann Fir, these are a fuller, more uniformed shape and are rich in colour - we have these in our most popular 6ft range of trees. As with the potted trees, we’re more than happy to keep your tree for you if you wanted to choose it early but not take it home until nearer the big day. Tree stands

If you’re in need of a stand, we have those too! We stock the Quick Stands (on the left below) and we have them in both medium and large size and either of those will fit trees in our orange tag size and above.

Traditional Christmas wreaths

Last but not least, we have traditional wreaths on sale, handmade here at the nursery. We’ll also have some smaller holly and ribbon ones too which are all currently available. Once you’ve got your tree, why not have a look at the wreaths and brighten up your front door?
