Welcome to Madley Plants, thanks for visiting. We’re an independent, family-run nursery, growing and selling top quality British plants in Madley, Herefordshire.
We don't specialise in any particular type of plants at the nursery, we try to have as broad a range on offer as we can, all sourced as locally as possible. Our focus is to be our area’s independent nursery that sells seasonal plants, is able to provide constructive help and advice and has a nice cafe to sit, relax and enjoy tea, coffee, cake and ice cream. If you're not sure what you're looking for, grab us for a chat and we can suggest different options that might work well in your garden. We're more than happy to help. We’re open 7 days a week, from 9-5 Monday to Saturday and 10-4 on Sundays.
We're having a week off!
Yes, that’s right, we’re going to have a bit of a break and close the nursery for a week in early August. We’ll close, as usual, at 4pm on Sunday the 4th August and then we won’t re-open until 10am on Monday 12th August. We hope you’ll appreciate we need a bit of down time, and as August is our quietest month, we thought this would work quite well. Once we re-open, our hours will change slightly; we'll be open from 9-5 on Saturdays and from 10-4 on all other days.
What’s happening and looking good this week…Monday 15th July

A brief history
The original nursery launched on this site in 1997 and was in the hands of the same owners until August 2015. It was then taken over by Michele and Simon who moved to Madley with their three boys, Harry, George & Jim. They re-named the nursery Madley Plants and opened the cafe in March 2016.
