Love Local @Christmas (1 December 2018)

On Saturday December 1st we hosted our second Love Local event, Love Local ❤️ @Christmas!

It was an event to help make Christmas shopping more fun and a little easier while helping to support local businesses in our community. And it was a great success! We had over 20 local businesses here including Daisy Mae’s Handmade Dog Collars, Oscar Pet Food, Soph’s Cakes, Allsorts Gifts & Homeware and Baby Knits & Home Bits along with a selection of other locally skilled crafts people making everything from greeting cards and hand turned wooden bowls through to Christmas bunting and decorations.

We also had a raffle in aid of the Madley Community Project Group who are raising funds to build a new children's play area for our village. All stallholders donated a prize and we raised over £250 which was fantastic so thanks to all who brought prizes and those who bought tickets.
